Food Bank
The Covington Food Bank distributes food, rent, and utility payments to people in need. In addition, they operate one of the only dental clinics in the area for people without insurance and a Thrift Shop.
We ask our members to bring to each monthly meeting canned goods to donate to the Covington Food Bank. We give each member a ticket for participating in the food drive and then draw at the end of the meeting for a door prize. For our Christmas luncheon we ask members to bring a little more food, or make a cash donation to the food bank to provide an abundance of Christmas joy for needy families. Please help us with this legacy goal each month. We give out food bank tote sacks at our meetings to help you remember.
Involvement includes monthly food collections at meetings, donations, & volunteer opportunities at Food Bank and Thrift Store.
